Springfield Pediatric Therapy is a pediatric outpatient facility with a dedicated team of therapists who work together to enhance your child’s total development. Springfield Pediatric Therapy is proud to offer feeding therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech language/oral motor therapy to children from birth to 21.

Erin B. Cobb
Clinic Owner, Director, & OTR/L
Erin Cobb, OTR/L is a pediatric occupational therapist with more than 10 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings including home health, preschool and outpatient facilities. With a strong desire to help children and families in the under-served areas north of Nashville, Erin opened Springfield Pediatric Therapy in September 2009. Erin has training in feeding difficulties, fine motor/handwriting difficulties, and sensory integration. Erin is certified in the SOS (Sensory Oral Sequential) feeding method and iLs (Integrated Listening Systems). Erin lives in Springfield with her husband and 2 sons. “It is my hope to be a light in the lives of the children and families that I serve.”
Terri Hallman, PTA graduated from Daymar College in Clarksville, TN in 2015. She has been working with children at Springfield Pediatric Therapy and has specialized in pediatrics since graduation. Terri was a physical therapy technician at STAR Physical Therapy for 3.5 years prior to graduation, where she was able to gain knowledge and experience with orthopedic physical therapy. Terri lives in Hendersonville with her husband and 2 children. They enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling.
Katie McMahan, COTA/L graduated from Nashville State Community College and has over 10 years of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She has worked in a variety of settings including long term care facilities and home health care, but found her passion in pediatrics. Katie is certified in SOS Approach to Feeding (Sequential Oral Sensory), as well as iLs (Integrated Listening System). Katie lives in Coopertown with her husband and son. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Billing & Credentialing Manager
Denise Thompson has been the billing and credentialing manager at Springfield Pediatric Therapy since 2012. She has been working in the medical billing field since 1985. Denise lives in Ashland City with her husband Billy. They have 2 children and 5 wonderful grandchildren. Denise is raising her grandson who has special needs, giving her a passion and empathy for the families that she serves at Springfield Pediatric Therapy.
Katie Brown OTD, OTR/L received her undergraduate degree in exercise science in 2013 and then entered Belmont University’s occupational therapy program. She graduated with a doctorate degree in occupational therapy in 2016 and began working at Springfield Pediatric Therapy shortly after. Katie has always had a passion for working with children with a wide range of special needs, which she further developed during clinical experiences in school and volunteer opportunities in the community. Katie lives in Pleasant View with her husband and enjoys spending time outdoors and with her family.
Emily Ruth, M.S. CCC-SLP graduated from Tennessee State University in 2013 with an M.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She graduated from Lambuth University in 2005 with a B.S. in Communication Disorders and a minor in Special Education. Emily has been working with children in a variety of settings including early intervention, K-12 school settings, and outpatient pediatrics. In addition to providing direct speech therapy, Emily served as a school district consultant for students with complex communication needs. Emily is ASHA certified and a member of ASHA Special Interest Group 12 for Augmentative and Alternative Communication. She is certified in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), is trained in the Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) approach, and completed the HANDS in Autism intensive training workshop through Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Emily lives in Gallatin with her husband, daughter, and newborn son.
Kelsey Rowe, MS CF-SLP graduated with her masters in speech-language pathology from Western KY University in 2017. She has been specializing in pediatrics since graduation and is passionate about helping children learn and grow. Kelsey has experience working with children in both outpatient and school settings. Kelsey has experience working with augmentative assistive communication devices, fluency, sign language and children with autism. She lives in Russelville with her husband and son and enjoys spending time outdoors.
Christine Strachan, COTA/L graduated from Green River Community College in Auburn, WA in August 2008. She has worked in a variety of settings including home health care, skilled nursing facilities and pediatrics. Christine is certified in iLs (Integrated Listening Systems) and has specific training in sensory integration techniques using Brainworks. She lives in Clarksville with her husband and step-daughter and enjoys spending time serving as the coordinator for the program for children with special needs at her local church.
Karen Lincoln is a life-long resident of Springfield. She has been the office manager at Springfield Pediatric Therapy since its opening in 2009. Karen has been married to her husband Ben for 28 years. She has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Karen loves spending time with her grandkids, riding bikes, walking and scrapbooking.
Andrea Wing has been the office assistant at Springfield Pediatric Therapy since September 2014. 12 years ago, Andrea married her college sweetheart and moved to Springfield. They have 2 beautiful children, Jocelyn (9) and Garrett (8).
Patient Care Coordinator
Christina Vasquez-Lindahl, PCC worked as a part time translator here at Springfield Pediatric Therapy before transitioning into the role of Patient Care Coordinator. She studied child development and psychology before entering the military. Through her studies, she has always known that she wanted to work with children and their families. As a wife and mother of 6, advocacy for children has always been a passion of hers. Her role as patient care coordinator fulfills this passion by allowing her to build connections between a variety of providers to ensure the patients are receiving the services they need. Christina enjoys building personal relationships and bridging the gap for Spanish speaking families through her translation services. Christina’s life is fulfilled with family, friends, church and her kids’ activities!
